Burmistrz Zakroczymia Artur Ciecierski poinformował 2-X-2026 r., że ruszył kolejny etap rewitalizacji centrum. Prace idą naraz na Rynku i przy ul. Gdańskiej. Miasto chce przywrócić historyczny charakter tej części Zakroczymia, nie tylko wymienić nawierzchnię.
Na Rynku mają pójść wszystkie chodniki. Jezdnię ułożą na nowo z istniejącej kostki, żeby zostać przy dawnym wyglądzie. Przy ul. Gdańskiej powstaną nowe chodniki i nowa nawierzchnia jezdni, z materiałów dobranych do zabudowy centrum. Ciecierski poprosił o cierpliwość wobec utrudnień. Terminu końca nie podał.
Na zadanie samorząd województwa mazowieckiego dał 2 600 000 zł z programu „Mazowsze pomaga”. Zakres jest szerszy niż Rynek i Gdańska. Z tych pieniędzy ma pójść też fragment ul. Koźmińskiego, od ronda do Rynku, ul. Uroczysko oraz droga gminna w Wólce Smoszewskiej.
The market cobbles stay, the pavement goes new
The mayor of Zakroczym, Artur Ciecierski, reported on October 2, 2026 that the next stage of the revitalisation of the centre has started. Work is going at once on the Market Square and on Gdańska Street. The town wants to restore the historic character of this part of Zakroczym, not only to replace the surface.
On the Market Square all the pavements are to go. The roadway will be laid anew from the existing cobbles, so as to keep the old look. On Gdańska Street new pavements and a new roadway surface will be built, from materials matched to the buildings of the centre. Ciecierski asked for patience with the disruptions. He did not give an end date.
For the task the self-government of the Mazovian voivodeship gave 2,600,000 zlotys from the programme “Mazowsze pomaga”. The scope is wider than the Market Square and Gdańska. From this money a stretch of Koźmińskiego Street is also to go, from the roundabout to the Market Square, Uroczysko Street and the communal road in Wólka Smoszewska.
