Społeczność Szkoły Podstawowej im. Marii Konopnickiej w Popowie Borowym uczciła Dzień Patrona uroczystą akademią poświęconą życiu i twórczości autorki „Roty”. W wydarzeniu połączono poezję, muzykę i elementy literatury dziecięcej.
Podczas uroczystości uczniowie przypomnieli biografię Marii Konopnickiej oraz fragmenty jej twórczości. Na scenie pojawiły się recytacje, występy muzyczne i inscenizacje nawiązujące do najbardziej znanych utworów pisarki.
Szczególne miejsce zajęły akcenty baśniowe związane z opowieścią „O sierotce Marysi i krasnoludkach”. Dzięki przygotowanym scenom uczestnicy mogli przenieść się do świata dziecięcej literatury stworzonego przez patronkę szkoły.
W przygotowanie akademii zaangażowali się zarówno młodsi, jak i starsi uczniowie, prezentując umiejętności aktorskie, muzyczne oraz recytatorskie.

Konopnicka returned to the school stage
The community of the Maria Konopnicka Primary School in Popowo Borowe celebrated Patron’s Day with a ceremonial academy devoted to the life and work of the author of “Rota.” The event combined poetry, music, and elements of children’s literature.
During the celebration, students presented the biography of Maria Konopnicka along with excerpts from her literary works. The stage featured recitations, musical performances, and theatrical scenes inspired by the writer’s best-known creations.
A special place was devoted to fairy-tale themes connected with the story “Marysia the Orphan and the Dwarfs.” Thanks to the prepared performances, participants were transported into the world of children’s literature created by the school’s patron.
Both younger and older students took part in preparing the academy, presenting acting, musical, and recitation skills.
As emphasized after the event, the celebration was an expression of memory, respect, and pride shared by the entire school community connected with the patron of the institution.
Patron’s Day remains one of the most important events in the school calendar and serves as an opportunity to recall the literary and patriotic legacy of Maria Konopnicka.
