Kasyno Oficerskie w Twierdzy Modlin na jeden dzień stało się centrum świątecznego spotkania mieszkańców. Wydarzenie przygotowane przez Nowodworski Ośrodek Kultury połączyło jarmark, warsztaty i teatr. Program skierowany był do całych rodzin.
W sobotę 13 XII 2025 r. w Kasynie Oficerskim w Twierdzy Modlin odbyło się wydarzenie Christmas Party vol. 2, zorganizowane przez Nowodworski Ośrodek Kultury. Przestrzenie zabytkowego obiektu wypełniły się mieszkańcami Nowego Dworu oraz gośćmi z okolicy, którzy przez cały dzień korzystali z bogatego programu przygotowanego z myślą o dzieciach i dorosłych.
Przez cały dzień trwał Jarmark Świąteczny, podczas którego lokalni twórcy i rękodzielnicy prezentowali ręcznie wykonane ozdoby, dekoracje oraz świąteczne upominki. Wnętrza Kasyna wypełnił zapach pierników, świąteczne dekoracje oraz gwar rozmów, tworząc wyraźnie adwentowy klimat.
Istotnym elementem wydarzenia była strefa warsztatowa dla dzieci. Najmłodsi uczestnicy wykonywali świąteczną biżuterię, kartki, bombki i ceramiczne ozdoby, a także dekorowali pierniki. W budynku Kasyna przygotowano również atrakcje związane z postacią Świętego Mikołaja. Dzieci mogły spotkać Rudolfa, zobaczyć sanie Mikołaja oraz wykonać pamiątkowe fotografie na świątecznej ściance, przygotowanej przez pracowników Kasyna Oficerskiego oraz instruktorkę zajęć plastycznych Iwonę Fonder. Przed budynkiem dodatkową atrakcją były osiołki, z którymi można było wybrać się na przejażdżkę, nakarmić je i spędzić czas na świeżym powietrzu.
W ramach cyklu „Poranek z Teatrem” zaprezentowano muzyczny spektakl dla dzieci „Śnieżna Królowa – opowieść zimowa”. Widowisko, oparte na historii Kaja i Gerdy, przyciągnęło liczną publiczność. Scenografia, kostiumy i oprawa muzyczna wprowadziły widzów w baśniowy świat, a opowieść o przyjaźni, odwadze i wierności spotkała się z bardzo ciepłym odbiorem.
Wieczorem na scenie Kasyna Oficerskiego wystąpił Teatr Piasku Tetiany Galitsyny ze spektaklem „Opowieść Wigilijna”. Przedstawienie, ze względu na duże zainteresowanie, zaprezentowano dwukrotnie, a widownia za każdym razem była wypełniona po brzegi. Klasyczna historia Ebenezera Scrooge’a została ukazana poprzez połączenie teatru, muzyki na żywo oraz animacji piaskiem i światłem, wprowadzając publiczność w refleksyjny nastrój oczekiwania na Święta Bożego Narodzenia.
Christmas Party vol. 2 w Kasynie Oficerskim potwierdziło swoją rolę jako wydarzenia integrującego lokalną społeczność i łączącego różne pokolenia wokół wspólnego przeżywania adwentowego czasu.
The casino in the rhythm of Advent
For one day, the Officers’ Casino in the Modlin Fortress became the center of a festive gathering for residents. The event prepared by the Nowy Dwór Cultural Center combined a fair, workshops, and theater. The program was addressed to entire families.
On Saturday, December 13, 2025, Christmas Party vol. 2 took place at the Officers’ Casino in the Modlin Fortress, organized by the Nowy Dwór Cultural Center. The historic interiors were filled with residents of Nowy Dwór and visitors from the surrounding area, who throughout the day took part in a rich program prepared for both children and adults.
The Christmas Fair lasted all day, during which local creators and artisans presented handmade ornaments, decorations, and holiday gifts. The interiors of the Casino were filled with the scent of gingerbread, festive decorations, and the sound of conversations, creating a distinctly Advent atmosphere.
An important element of the event was the workshop zone for children. The youngest participants created Christmas jewelry, cards, baubles, and ceramic ornaments, and decorated gingerbread cookies. Inside the Casino, attractions connected with Saint Nicholas were also prepared. Children could meet Rudolph, see Santa’s sleigh, and take souvenir photos at a Christmas backdrop prepared by the staff of the Officers’ Casino and art instructor Iwona Fonder. Outside the building, additional attractions included donkeys, which children could ride, feed, and spend time with outdoors.
As part of the “Morning with Theater” series, a musical performance for children titled “The Snow Queen – a winter tale” was presented. The show, based on the story of Kai and Gerda, attracted a large audience. The scenery, costumes, and musical setting transported viewers into a fairy-tale world, and the story of friendship, courage, and loyalty was warmly received.
In the evening, the Tetiana Galitsyna Sand Theater appeared on the Casino stage with the performance “A Christmas Carol.” Due to great interest, the show was presented twice, and each time the audience filled the hall to capacity. The classic story of Ebenezer Scrooge was presented through a combination of theater, live music, and sand-and-light animation, introducing the audience to a reflective mood of anticipation for Christmas.
Christmas Party vol. 2 at the Officers’ Casino once again confirmed its role as an event integrating the local community and bringing generations together around the shared experience of the Advent season.
