Po ośmiu latach od pierwszego wydania mieszkańcy ponownie będą mogli sięgnąć po publikację dokumentującą dzieje gminy Nowe Miasto. Trwają również prace nad drugim tomem, który uzupełni i rozwinie dotychczasowe opracowanie.
Autor monografii gminy Nowe Miasto poinformował o zakończeniu kolejnego etapu prac związanych z przygotowaniem II części „Historii Gminy Nowe Miasto”. Przez ostatni rok prowadzone były działania terenowe, podczas których zbierano materiały niezbędne do opracowania publikacji. Obecnie trwają prace korekcyjne.
Nowa książka będzie kontynuacją i uzupełnieniem pierwszego tomu, który ukazał się w 2018 roku. Jak podkreśla autor, obie części tworzą spójną całość, dlatego równolegle zapadła decyzja o wznowieniu pierwszego wydania.
Powodem ponownego wydania są liczne prośby mieszkańców oraz osób zainteresowanych historią gminy. Dzięki możliwościom współczesnych technologii drukarskich możliwe stało się przygotowanie niewielkiego nakładu bez konieczności ponoszenia wysokich kosztów.
Publikacja zostanie wydana w formule crowdfundingu wydawniczego. Osoby zainteresowane zakupem książki wpłacą zaliczkę w wysokości 50 zł, a po wydrukowaniu egzemplarzy dopłacą pozostałą część należności. Przy nakładzie 100 egzemplarzy szacowany koszt książki wynosi 120 zł, powiększone o 5 zł przeznaczone na koszty organizacyjne, reklamowe i transportowe. Ostateczna cena będzie zależna od liczby zamówień.

History returns to the bookshelves
Eight years after its first publication, residents will once again have an opportunity to obtain a book documenting the history of the Municipality of Nowe Miasto. At the same time, work is underway on a second volume that will expand and complement the original publication.
The author of the municipal monograph announced the completion of another stage of work on Part II of the “History of the Municipality of Nowe Miasto.” During the past year, field research and material collection were carried out. The publication is currently undergoing editorial corrections.
The new volume will serve as a continuation and supplement to the first book published in 2018. According to the author, both volumes form a coherent whole, which is why a decision has also been made to reissue the first edition.
The reprint responds to numerous requests from residents and local history enthusiasts. Thanks to modern printing technologies, a limited print run can now be produced at a reasonable cost.
The publication will be financed through a publishing crowdfunding model. Interested readers will pay a 50 PLN deposit and settle the remaining balance after printing. With a print run of 100 copies, the estimated price is 120 PLN per book, plus 5 PLN to cover organizational, promotional, and transportation expenses. The final price will depend on the total number of orders.
