Najmłodsze dzieci z oddziału 0 odwiedziły bibliotekę, aby dowiedzieć się więcej o jej funkcjonowaniu, odpowiedniej pielęgnacji książek oraz zasadach wypożyczania literatury. Otrzymały także zakładki z godzinami otwarcia biblioteki, co na pewno przypomni im o możliwości korzystania z jej zasobów.
Dodatkowo, uczniowie klasy II wcielili się w role lektorów, czytając książki swoim młodszym kolegom z przedszkola. Inicjatywa ta miała na celu promowanie rozwoju osobistego przez literaturę. Ta sama klasa rozpoczęła także 7-dniowe wyzwanie czytelnicze, a uczestnicy zabrali do domu okładki książek, które mają za zadanie samodzielnie zaprojektować.
Starsze uczennice z klasy VI również wykazały się inicjatywą, odwiedzając przedszkole i czytając książki najmłodszym, co z pewnością było dla nich niezwykle inspirujące.
Dzień ten był pełen literackich wrażeń i na długo pozostanie w pamięci uczestników jako wyjątkowe święto książki i kultury czytelniczej.
Poetic tea at the School-Kindergarten Complex in New Kazuń in celebration of World Book Day
On April 23rd, 2024, the School-Kindergarten Complex in New Kazuń celebrated World Book Day and Copyright Law with a special event in the school library, known as a „poetic tea.” Students from grades I-VII enjoyed reading books over tea and cookies, discussing the importance of copyright laws and the benefits of reading.
The youngest children from the preparatory class visited the library to learn about its operations, how to care for books, and the proper way to borrow literature. They also received bookmarks with library hours, reminding them of the opportunity to utilize its resources.
Furthermore, second-grade students took on the role of readers, sharing books with their younger peers from the kindergarten. This initiative aimed to promote personal development through literature. The same class also embarked on a 7-day reading challenge, taking home book covers they are tasked to design themselves.
Older students from the sixth grade also showed initiative by visiting the kindergarten to read books to the youngest, surely providing inspiration.
This day was filled with literary experiences and will long be remembered by participants as a special celebration of books and reading culture.
