Mieszkańcy gminy Nowe Miasto uczczą 108. rocznicę odzyskania przez Polskę niepodległości w remizie OSP w Latonicach. Uroczystość zaplanowano na 11-XI-2026r. o 3.00 po poł. Zapraszają Stowarzyszenie Dziedzictwo Gminy Nowe Miasto, sołtysi Janopola, Latonic, Nowego Miasta-Folwarku i Władysławowa, OSP KSRG Latonice oraz koło Polskiego Związku Emerytów i Rencistów w Nowym Mieście.
Program obejmuje wspólne śpiewanie pieśni patriotycznych z zespołem „Warto Żyć”, prelekcję o mieszkankach Latonic i sąsiednich wsi w walce o niepodległość oraz występ artystyczny członków Młodzieżowej Drużyny Pożarniczej w Latonicach. Po uroczystości organizatorzy zapraszają na poczęstunek: grochówkę, ciasto, kawę i herbatę.
Obchodom będą towarzyszyć dwa stoiska. Fundacja „Z natury do zdrowia” przygotuje pokaz „Dary natury – moc ziół”, podczas którego będzie można poznać właściwości ziół i spróbować naparów ziołowych. Koło Gospodyń Wiejskich w Nowym Mieście będzie sprzedawać pierogi. Patronat honorowy nad uroczystością objął burmistrz miasta i gminy Nowe Miasto.
Pea soup and patriotic songs at the Latonice fire hall
Residents of the Nowe Miasto municipality will mark the 108th anniversary of Poland regaining its independence at the volunteer fire department hall in Latonice. The celebration is scheduled for November 11, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. The invitation comes from the Nowe Miasto Municipality Heritage Association, the village heads of Janopole, Latonice, Nowe Miasto-Folwark and Władysławowo, the Latonice volunteer fire department, and the Nowe Miasto chapter of the Polish Association of Pensioners.
The program includes singing patriotic songs together with the band "Warto Żyć," a talk about the women of Latonice and neighboring villages in the struggle for independence, and an artistic performance by members of the Youth Firefighting Team in Latonice. After the ceremony, the organizers invite everyone to refreshments: pea soup, cake, coffee and tea.
Two stands will accompany the celebration. The foundation "Z natury do zdrowia" will present "Gifts of Nature – the Power of Herbs," where visitors can learn about the properties of herbs and taste herbal infusions. The Nowe Miasto Rural Women's Club will sell pierogi. The mayor of the town and municipality of Nowe Miasto is the honorary patron of the event.
