Podczas ostatniej sesji Rady Gminy Joniec uhonorowano młodą zawodniczkę taekwondo Oliwię Baumę, która wywalczyła dwa srebrne medale podczas europejskiego turnieju w Belgii. Wójt wraz z radnymi złożyli jej gratulacje i wręczyli voucher uznania.
Na ostatniej sesji Rady Gminy Joniec wyróżniono Oliwię Baumę za osiągnięcia sportowe i godne reprezentowanie gminy. – Wójt Marek Czerniakowski wraz z przewodniczącym Rady Gminy Marcinem Sztabnikiem oraz radnymi złożyli jej serdeczne gratulacje i wręczyli voucher – informuje gmina. Przygodę z taekwondo Oliwia rozpoczęła w 2015 roku, mając zaledwie 5 lat.
Na swoim koncie zawodniczka ma medale Mistrzostw Mazowsza, Warmii i Mazur oraz Mistrzostw Polski, a także powołanie do Kadry Narodowej Polski w 2021 roku. Oliwia posiada czarny pas I DAN. Najnowszym sukcesem jest zdobycie dwóch srebrnych medali podczas Europejskiego Turnieju Taekwondo Flanders Fields w Belgii w lutym 2026 roku – zarówno w walkach indywidualnych, jak i grupowych.

Two Silvers from Belgium for Oliwia
During the last session of the Joniec Municipal Council, young taekwondo athlete Oliwia Bauma was honored for her sporting achievements and worthy representation of the municipality. The mayor together with councilors offered her congratulations and presented a voucher.
At the last session of the Joniec Municipal Council, Oliwia Bauma was distinguished for her sporting achievements and worthy representation of the municipality. „Mayor Marek Czerniakowski, together with the Chairman of the Municipal Council Marcin Sztabnik and councilors, offered her heartfelt congratulations and presented a voucher,” informs the municipality. Oliwia began her adventure with taekwondo in 2015, at just 5 years old.
The athlete’s achievements include medals from the Mazovian, Warmian-Masurian, and Polish Championships, as well as a call-up to the Polish National Team in 2021. Oliwia holds a black belt (I DAN). Her latest success is winning two silver medals during the European Taekwondo Tournament „Flanders Fields” in Belgium in February 2026 – both in individual and group fights.
