Nasielska biblioteka gminna zorganizowała cykl spotkań autorskich dla uczniów klas I–III szkół podstawowych z terenu Gminy Nasielsk. Gościem był Waldemar Cichoń – autor znany przede wszystkim z pełnych humoru i ciepła opowieści o niesfornym kocie Cukierku i wiernym psie Riko.
W poniedziałek autor odwiedził Szkołę Podstawową Nr 1 im. Konstytucji 3 Maja w Nasielsku oraz Szkołę Podstawową Nr 2 im. Stefana Starzyńskiego w Nasielsku. Spotkania cieszyły się ogromnym zainteresowaniem wśród dzieci, które z żywym zaciekawieniem słuchały opowieści o tym, jak powstaje książka – od pierwszego pomysłu aż po moment, gdy trafia ona na półki księgarń.
Szczególne emocje wzbudziła historia powstania serii książek o kocie Cukierku. Jak zdradził p. Waldemar, pierwotnym zamysłem było zachęcenie jego syna Marcela do czytania – a nic nie działa lepiej niż książka napisana… o sobie i swoim pupilu. Tak oto narodził się pomysł na opowieści, które dziś zna i kocha wiele dzieci w całej Polsce.
Co ważne – Cukierek naprawdę istnieje! Pręgowany dachowiec z charakterystyczną plamką na nosie stał się prawdziwą literacką gwiazdą. Uczniowie mieli okazję wysłuchać fragmentów książek czytanych przez samego autora, zadać pytania oraz dowiedzieć się wielu ciekawostek o pisarskim warsztacie.
Na zakończenie spotkań dzieci mogły zakupić książkę, zdobyć autograf oraz zrobić sobie pamiątkowe zdjęcie z autorem. Była to piękna lekcja literatury, pełna śmiechu, emocji i zachwytu nad magią codziennych, a jednak niezwykłych przygód.

Cukierek is real – author meetings with Waldemar Cichoń in Nasielsk schools
On 24-III-25, the municipal library in Nasielsk organized a series of special author meetings for students in grades I–III from schools across the Nasielsk Commune. The guest of honor was Waldemar Cichoń – the beloved author of the humorous and heartwarming books about the mischievous cat Cukierek and the loyal dog Riko.
On Monday, Mr. Cichoń visited Primary School No. 1 named after the Constitution of May 3rd and Primary School No. 2 named after Stefan Starzyński in Nasielsk. Students listened with great interest as the author shared how a book is created – from the initial idea to publication.
A highlight of the meeting was the story behind the creation of the Cukierek series. Mr. Waldemar admitted that the idea came from his desire to encourage his oldest son, Marcel, to read. He figured his son would be more willing to read a story about himself and his beloved pet. And thus, the idea for Cukierek’s adventures was born.
To the delight of the children, they learned that Cukierek – the tabby cat with a spot on his nose – is not just a character, but a real cat. The students also had the opportunity to listen to excerpts read aloud by the author, ask questions, and discover fascinating details about the writing process.
At the end of the event, children could buy a book, receive an autograph, and take a photo with the author. It was a joyful and inspiring encounter with literature, full of curiosity, laughter, and real-life magic.
