Stowarzyszenie na rzecz Rozwoju Sportu w Gminie Czosnów ogłosiło, że już 20-X-24r. odbędzie się kolejna edycja Biegu Orła w Czosnowie. To unikatowe wydarzenie w powiecie nowodworskim zdobyło ważne miejsce w kalendarzu biegowym Mazowsza, przyciągając nie tylko miłośników sportu, lecz także osoby wspierające charytatywne inicjatywy.
Bieg Orła, który w tym roku będzie jednocześnie formą uczczenia szóstej rocznicy odsłonięcia pomnika „Orzeł Niepodległości”, zgromadzi 450 biegaczy oraz ich kibiców. Monument, będący hołdem dla przeszłości, zostanie utrwalony we współczesnych wydarzeniach, co wzmacnia patriotyczny charakter biegu.
W duchu kontynuowania idei pomocy innym, dochód z tegorocznej edycji zostanie przekazany na projekt FAMILY SPOTY, prowadzony przez Związek Dużych Rodzin Trzy Plus, który ma na celu wsparcie kompetencji rodzicielskich oraz integrację rodzin poprzez warsztaty dla rodziców, samotnych matek, ojców, małżeństw i dzieci.
Trasy biegu
Jak co roku, organizatorzy przewidzieli dwa dystanse:
- Marszobieg rodzinny o długości 1928 m, nawiązujący do roku odsłonięcia pierwotnego pomnika „Orzeł Niepodległości”. To propozycja dla 200 uczestników w każdym wieku, którzy chcą wziąć udział w symbolicznym biegu. Start o godz. 1:20.
- Bieg na 5 km, który zgromadzi 250 biegaczy, odbędzie się o godz. po poł.. Dla tego dystansu przewidziano klasyfikację zawodników.
Biuro zawodów będzie czynne od godz. 10:00, natomiast miasteczko biegowe, z licznymi atrakcjami dla dzieci i dorosłych, otworzy swoje podwoje o godz. 11:00 na placu przed Urzędem Gminy w Czosnowie.

Organizatorzy zachęcają firmy oraz instytucje do objęcia IX Biegu Orła sponsoringiem lub partnerstwem. W zamian za wsparcie finansowe lub ufundowanie nagród, sponsorzy mogą liczyć na promocję swojej marki na materiałach promocyjnych, w pakietach startowych oraz w formie banerów reklamowych na terenie wydarzenia. IX Eagle Run in Czosnów – Sports and Patriotism Side by Side
The Association for the Development of Sports in the Czosnów Commune has announced that the 9th edition of the Eagle Run will take place on October 20, 2024. This unique event in Nowy Dwór County has secured an important place in the Mazovian running calendar, attracting not only sports enthusiasts but also those supporting charitable initiatives.
This year’s Eagle Run will also mark the 6th anniversary of the unveiling of the „Eagle of Independence” monument, commemorating its pre-war version. The race, which gathers 450 runners and their supporters, is a modern celebration of Poland’s history and a testament to national pride.
Continuing the original mission of helping others, proceeds from this year’s edition will support the FAMILY SPOTY project. Run by the Three Plus Large Families Association, this initiative aims to strengthen parental skills and foster family integration through workshops for parents, single parents, married couples, and children.
Race Details
As every year, two distances have been planned:
- Family march-run, 1928 meters long, symbolically tied to the year the original „Eagle of Independence” monument was unveiled. This event will accommodate 200 participants of all ages, starting at 1:20 PM.
- 5 km race, for 250 runners, will start at 2:00 PM. This distance will feature an official classification of participants.
The event office will be open from 10:00 AM, while the race village, with various attractions for children and adults, will open at 11:00 AM in front of the Czosnów Commune Office.

The organizers invite businesses and institutions to sponsor or partner with the 9th Eagle Run. In return for financial support or prize sponsorship, sponsors can promote their brand on promotional materials, in start packs, and via banners displayed at the event site.
