Jeszcze w kwietniu nowodworski samorząd poinformował o dwóch dużych dotacjach. Z budżetu państwa na dokumentację miejsc doraźnego schronienia trafi 1,65 mln zł, a z Ministerstwa Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego – blisko 200 tys. zł na renowację Pomnika Obrońców Modlina.
Miasto Nowy Dwór Mazowieckie otrzymało dofinansowanie ze środków Ministerstwa Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego w ramach programu Miejsca pamięci i trwałe upamiętnienia w kraju 2026 w wysokości 199 880 zł – poinformował nowodworski samorząd. Środki te zostaną przeznaczone na kompleksowe prace konserwatorskie, restauratorskie oraz rewaloryzacyjne przy Pomniku Obrońców Modlina – jednym z kluczowych miejsc pamięci narodowej upamiętniających bohaterską obronę Twierdzy Modlin w 1939 r.
Zgodnie z dokumentacją techniczną prac konserwatorskich zaplanowano: zabezpieczenie pomnika przed dalszą degradacją, oczyszczenie pomnika wraz z figurami żołnierzy, wymianę replik armat flankujących, uzupełnienie i naprawę ubytków, oczyszczenie tablicy na pomniku, naprawę oświetlenia, wymianę lub naprawę nawierzchni wokół pomnika, montaż masztu flagowego z podświetleniem oraz montaż tablic edukacyjnych.
Przypomnijmy, że jeszcze w kwietniu miasto otrzymało również dofinansowanie z budżetu państwa w ramach Programu Ochrony Ludności i Obrony Cywilnej w wysokości 1 650 000 zł na opracowanie dokumentacji technicznej dostosowania pięciu obiektów użyteczności publicznej do Miejsc Doraźnego Schronienia oraz opracowanie Programów Funkcjonalno-Użytkowych dla planowanych parkingów podziemnych i hali sportowej.
Over PLN 1.6 Million for Shelters and PLN 200,000 for a Monument. Nowy Dwór Invests in Safety and Memory
In April, the Nowy Dwór local government announced two major grants. The state budget will provide PLN 1.65 million for the documentation of temporary shelter sites, while the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage will contribute nearly PLN 200,000 for the renovation of the Defenders of Modlin Monument.
The City of Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki received co-financing from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage under the program Sites of Memory and Permanent Commemorations in the Country 2026 in the amount of PLN 199,880 – announced the Nowy Dwór local government. The funds will be allocated for comprehensive conservation, restoration, and refurbishment work on the Defenders of Modlin Monument – one of the key national memorial sites commemorating the heroic defense of the Modlin Fortress in 1939.
According to the technical documentation for the conservation work, the following is planned: protection of the monument against further degradation, cleaning of the monument along with the soldier figures, replacement of the replica flanking cannons, filling and repair of cavities, cleaning of the monument’s plaque, repair of the lighting, replacement or repair of the surface around the monument, installation of a flagpole with illumination, and installation of educational plaques.
As previously reported, also in April the city received state budget funding under the Civil Protection and Civil Defense Program in the amount of PLN 1,650,000 for the development of technical documentation for adapting five public utility buildings into Temporary Shelter Sites and for the preparation of Functional-Utility Programs for planned underground parking lots and a sports hall.
