W 80. rocznicę walk powstańczych Grupy Kampinos Armii Krajowej, dnia 25 sierpnia 2024 r., przy Pomniku Niepodległej Rzeczpospolitej Kampinoskiej w Wierszach, odbyły się uroczystości patriotyczno-religijne upamiętniające wydarzenia tamtych dni. Dzięki staraniom władz Gminy Czosnów oraz lokalnej społeczności, oddano hołd poległym i walczącym za wolność Ojczyzny, których poświęcenie pozostaje niezapomniane.

The heroes of the Warsaw Uprising, Soldiers of the Independent Republic of Kampinos, are passing away to their eternal guard. Prayer and preserving the memory of their heroic deeds are the highest values we can offer them today.
On the 80th anniversary of the Kampinos Group’s battles during the Warsaw Uprising, on August 25, 2024, at the Monument of the Independent Republic of Kampinos in Wiersze, patriotic and religious ceremonies were held to commemorate the events of those days. Thanks to the efforts of the Czosnów Municipality authorities and the local community, tribute was paid to those who fought and died for the freedom of the Homeland, whose sacrifice remains unforgettable.
