Wieliszew surveys asbestos-containing materials as authorised staff visit residents
The Wieliszew municipality has begun an inventory of asbestos-containing materials. Surveyors authorised by the Municipal Office will visit residents to collect information needed to plan the further removal of such materials from the municipality.
According to the notice, the surveyors carry written authorisations and should show them when requested by a resident. The inventory covers, among other things, roofing and façade panels commonly known in Poland as eternit.
The collected data is intended to identify where asbestos-containing products are located and in what quantities. It should also support planning and the search for funding for their removal. The Wieliszew Municipal Office asks residents to cooperate during the visits by allowing access to the property, speaking with the surveyors and providing the necessary information.
