The fortress from the casino to the redoubt
The Modlin Fortress Tourist Information Centre invites visitors to an approximately three-hour guided tour of Modlin Fortress. The meeting point is at the building at Gen. Ignacy Ledóchowski Street 160.
The route covers the exclusive interiors of the Officers’ Casino, the Park of Three Cultures and the Tsarist Blocks, as well as Napoleon’s Redoubt. In the casino the guide presents the history of the building, its halls and former garrison life. At Napoleon’s Redoubt one can see the defensive fortifications and murals linking the old fortress with the present day.
Admission to the Museum of the September Campaign and Modlin Fortress is included in the price of the ticket for the full route. Those interested may choose a guided tour of the Officers’ Casino alone or the full route covering the casino and the fortress. The number of places is limited. The organisers recommend comfortable footwear.
